Our Mission:

To use the power of the internet to go from an average man, to a poker star.

To win enough online poker to earn a living.

To be able to win at as many tournaments as humanly possible, everything from smoky back rooms of local bars, all the way up to The World Series.

The GAME is all about learning - I've won my share of games and LOADS of cash over the years... but seems the more I learn - the more I'm in the dark at times...

I know exactly what you mean though.. I'm not sure about the World Series..I'll just take the 22" Widescreens in my nice house and never working a 9-5 again :-)

..I like the idea of your blog though - knowledge is power and all that.. I'll certainly keep following it..as I said, I hope to start posting my own on this site..

I think the maths side of poker is more important in the online game where you are involved in a lot more pots and games are a lot quicker.
Like you though I'm a fan of human psychology and picking up on 'tells' and finding out why we do the things we do (am also a fan of Derren Brown :-)

At 5:08pm on March 27, 2008, BigO said…: yes it was awhile back,but I remember I was short stacked when I got to the final table.Made some all-in moves with nothing but posistion and first in,and I was on my way.Then I got hit with the deck big time.AA,KK,AK,took em all down 1 at a time.It was awesome.I belive it was 200 players or so..$50 buyin.Took about 6 hours to complete. I figure it was about $450 an hour.
